Explore the winter wonderland of Routt County’s backcountry with a dog sledding trip. Snow Buddy Sled Dog Adventures pulls guests along a trail that winds through the Little Flat Tops. Guests are involved every step of the way, from harnessing up the pups to caring for the dogs during breaks. Two dog sledding excursions go out per day; choose between a morning or afternoon trip, complete with a stop in a wintery tent with warm drinks and homemade snacks. Or, choose a special sunset dog sledding excursion including a full dinner to be enjoyed by the entire family.

Bookings can be made over the phone or through snowbuddysleddogadventures.com. Sled tours begin Friday, Nov. 29 and continue through the winter until Wednesday, April 30. Dress warmly for the brisk temperatures and find a comprehensive gear list on the website. Any item can be provided to keep guests safe and warm during the ride.
