Steamboat Springs, CO - As the hustle and bustle of ski tourism dies down and the slow season approaches, locals, and even a few dwindling visitors, are often left searching for something to keep them entertained. Although many restaurants shut down, others offer unbeatable discounts and specials to fill people’s time – and their stomachs. Read on for a list of what’s closed, what’s open and what’s discounted.

Although many restaurants shut down, others offer unbeatable discounts and specials to fill people’s time – and their stomachs. Read on for a list of what’s closed, what’s open and what’s discounted.
CLOSED
- Truffle Pig is currently closed, set to reopen on Friday, June 14.
- Gourmet sushi stop Tahk Omakase will be closed until Memorial Day Weekend. Then, they’ll reopen Friday, May 24-Sunday, May 26, before another brief closure, after which, they will open with their summer menu on Friday, May 31.
- Slopeside is done for the season.
- Cafe Diva, is also closed but will reopen on Friday, May 17 with specials (see below for more details).
- Table 79 will be closed from Sunday, April 28-Tuesday, May 7. They will also reopen with specials (see below for more details).
- Yampa Valley Kitchen is closed for spring cleaning, but will reopen on Thursday, May 2.
- The Periodic Table is closed for the season and will reopen with its summer concept on Wednesday, May 22.
- Stonewall is taking a two week vacation and will reopen at the beginning of May.
- White Rabbit Tavern will reopen Wednesday, May 15.
- The Commons Food Hall is closed until Friday, May 4 when they'll reopen with their "Spring Into Summer" party, beginning at 5:00 p.m. The event features live music from Apple Pie Order and The Remedy as well as a costume contest with prizes for the winners.
- And sadly, Mahogany Ridge has recently permanently closed.

- Cafe Diva (reopening on Friday, May 17) is offering Date Night every Sunday from May 19-June 23. Choose an appetizer, entree and shared dessert for $49 per person. And, fondue night returns for three Wednesdays beginning May 22.
- Sit by the rushing Yampa River at E3 Chophouse during happy hour from 3-5 p.m. every day and enjoy discounted wine, beer and appetizers.
- Or, get snazzy at Bésame’s salsa nights. A $10 cover gets you in for live music, drinks and dancing on Wednesdays, May 17, May 31 and June 14 from 9:30-11:30 p.m.
