Steamboat Springs, CO - Ski Town Media has hired two interns for the fall and we welcome Elainna Hemming and Lyla Baker to our team.
Elainna is a senior at Steamboat Springs High School and is hoping to pursue a major in journalism in college. Honing her writing skills and getting professional experience before she graduates has increased her interest in the humanities even more. In her internship role, she is writing stories, brainstorming ideas and gathering content for the magazine and its digital channels.
Lyla Baker is a sophomore at Steamboat Springs High School. Ever since she was little she's had a passion for storytelling, and she’s thrilled that this internship has allowed her to reach out to new people, hear their stories and diverse perspectives, and share them in a way that will inspire others to make a difference. When she's not writing, Lyla likes to read, play tennis and be outdoors.
