You can’t buy happiness… but you can buy local. The MainStreet Steamboat Farmers Market offers a bounty of goods each Saturday from June 10-Sept. 23. Located on Yampa Street between Fifth and Eighth streets from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the market features over 135 vendors each week. Vendors consist of a variety of local and regional options, with many traveling from hours away to attend.
Edible goods aren’t the only thing on display at the Farmers Market booths – peruse the creations of artisans from Steamboat Springs, the Western Slope and the Front Range. Find the perfect keepsake among a selection of cottage industry products, handcrafted artworks and pieces of one-of-a-kind craftsmanship. Local nonprofit organizations also set up weekly booths to provide information, merch and volunteer opportunities.

Food is the main attraction at the Farmers Market, and shoppers can find everything from fresh produce, meats and cheeses to baked goods, canned and prepared foods. Grab a bite at a food truck, select a juicy Palisade peach or pick up a jar of locally made honey as a souvenir.
