Because driving around town in knee-deep snow is no easy task, why not take advantage of the many different transportation options that are available in Steamboat? Not only are all these options convenient and easy to use, but they also cut down on traffic and help keep our town green.
Steamboat Springs Transit runs four city bus lines that will take you from the resort to the west end of town and back. You can also download the Yellow Zone app on your phone and request a free ride to and from anywhere in town. Want to schedule a ride ahead of time? Be sure to contact one of the many shuttle services, like GO West Transportation or Storm Mountain Express. Or maybe you want to stretch your legs and explore Steamboat on foot. Head on over to the 7.5-mile Yampa River Core Trail, which runs along the Yampa River and provides downtown access.
