What do you consider your proudest moment in your sport so far?

I would say my proudest moment so far has been winning the overall at U.S. selections in 2020, obtaining a start at the Deer Valley World Cup.

What would it mean to you to qualify and compete in the Olympics?

To qualify and compete in the coming Olympics would be an actual dream come true. I have been looking forward to and working to someday be able to compete in the Olympics since I was a young kid.

What’s the best advice your coach has given you?

My coach, Lars Johnson with the SSWSC, told me to just think about what you physically need to do to make a positive change. That has stuck with me to this day and always helps me whenever I'm having a bad day or I'm too emotionally distracted.

What role did growing up in Steamboat play in developing your athletic career?

Growing up in a steamboat played a huge role in who I am today. Having access to mogul skiing legends, amazing coaching staff and great facilities was a massive part in my development as an athlete. I got to grow up constantly skiing with my friends and pushing each other on the hill.

How old were you when you decided to dedicate yourself to being an elite athlete? Was it an easy decision to make?

I had two dreams when I was young, and they were to go to the Olympics and play lacrosse at the highest level. When I was at the end of my middle-school years I decided I was much better at skiing and was told I had lots of potential in this sport. It was not an easy decision to make because I was leaving all of my best friends that I played lacrosse with and wouldn't be able to play with them anymore. I'm very happy with the decision I made and all those friends are the best support crew anybody could ask for.

What does your perfect winter day in Steamboat look like?

My perfect winter day in Steamboat consists of slowly snowing large flakes all day on the mountain. Skiing with my best friends, sending ourselves off of every cliff and cat track.

Anything else to add?

I want to thank my parents, the SSWSC, and my friends for who I am and where I am today. I couldn't do any of this without your support!
