Changes at Old Town Hot Springs

REDUCED CAPACITY

We will be operating at a reduced capacity throughout the facility based on the State of Colorado Safer at Home Dial Level Red  At this point in time, our facility will remain available to members and guests. Please follow the posted capacity signs throughout the facility. 
We've taken a very conservative approach to our capacity levels since we reopened in June. For certain areas, the move to the Level Red will not have a significant impact on our capacity due to the size of our facility. 

WALK-UP RESERVATION SYSTEM
If there is space at our hot pools, lap pools, or fitness center when you arrive to our facility, we will issue a two-hour reservation for you and your party. These reservations will not be accepted in advance and will be based on our current capacity.
  • When you arrive at our facility, you will have to sign our waiver of acknowledgment that states that you do not have COVID-19 symptoms and will adhere to our policies. 
  • You will then check in at our Front Desk and will be informed if there is currently space at our hot pools, lap pool, or fitness center (includes the climbing wall).
  • If there is space for you and your entire party at that time, we will issue you a two-hour reservation, along with taking payment for your visit if you are a guest. 
  • If there is no space available at the time you arrive you can choose to wait until a current reservation is completed or come back at another time.
  • You will be required to check out once you have completed your visit or have exhausted the two-hour reservation. 
FAQs

Q: I would like to use the hot pools and the lap pool. Does my two-hour reservation include multiple amenities?
A: Our capacity numbers are limited in certain areas that we cannot offer the use of two or more amenities in your current reservation. Please stop by the Front Desk to check availability for the other amenity that you would like to use. If there is space, the Guest Services team will gladly switch your reservation to that amenity if you still have time remaining in your two-hour reservation.
Q: How will I know if there are available two-hour reservations?
A: Unfortunately, at this time, we cannot guarantee that there will be available reservations at any point of the day since a large party could arrive or leave. We are exploring options to show real-time occupancy on our website. Thanks for your patience with this!

Q: What is your capacity?
A: With a facility as complex as ours (check out what is open below), our capacity requirements vary depending on the State of Colorado Level Red guidance. We are in alignment with the Routt County Public Health Department and are in compliance with the mandate. Capacity per room or space is posted on signs throughout the facility.

WHAT'S OPEN?


Aquatics
  • Hot Pools are available for walk-up reservations.
  • Lap Pool is available for walk-up reservations. 
  • Steamboat Swim Team will continue to meet. 
  • Fit4Life will now be from 6:00-6:45am.
Water Slide
  • The water slide is closed. 
Climbing Wall
  • The climbing wall is available with a Fitness Center walk-up reservation.
Childcare Center
  • Closed until further notice.
Fitness
  • Spin will only occur outside. It will be canceled if the temperature is below 20 degreed AND/OR if it is snowing or raining. 
Massage
  • Massage is still available. Please call the Guest Services team at 970-879-1828 to schedule an appointment. 
  • A massage appointment does not include access to the hot pools, lap pools, or fitness center. If you are interested in using one of these amenities before or after your appointment, please check in at the Front Desk when you arrive.
