STEAMBOAT SPRINGS – Less than two months remain before the 2020 edition of WinterWonderGrass kicks off in Steamboat Springs, CO over February 21st - 23rd and today, the festival shares details on their official late-night series, Grass After Dark.

Before things heat up on February 21st, the WinterWonderGrass team is pleased to announce that Horseshoes & Hand Grenades will officially kick things off with a free set Thursday, February 20th at 2:00 PM on the stage beside the brand new gondola. Festival attendees in town early are welcome to visit the satellite box office to claim their weekend wristbands and check out the limited merchandise.

Taking place across Thunderhead LodgeThe Steamboat Grand Ballroom and Schmiggity's Live Music & Dance Bar, Grass After Dark ensures there is something for anyone looking to keep the music going after the grounds close.

Friday, February 21st’s schedule of events sees Pickin’ On The Dead with Andy Thorn from Leftover Salmon and The Jon Stickley Trio play on top of Steamboat Mountain at Thunderhead Lodge, while Jeremy Garret’s Funk Band (led by The Infamous Stringdusters' fiddle player) and Twisted Pine take over The Steamboat Grand. Della Mae and Meadow Mountain will also play an intimate set in downtown Steamboat at Schmiggitty’s Live Music & Dance Bar.

Jeremy Garret, on the topic of his Funk Band ensemble, says “I cannot wait to share this mostly funk but also grassidelic ensemble with the crowd at WinterWonderGrass. I know this crowd of all crowds will get it. With soul man Josh Shilling on some vocals and keys, Ryan Cavanaugh on electric banjo, the heavy beats of Neal Evans on drums, the low funky bass of Joel Searls along with the ripping guitar of Jeff Ervine, this will be one fun late night show.”

Continuing on Saturday night, an evening with ALO takes place up the gondola at the Thunderhead Lodge in advance of their Sunday headlining performance on the main stage. WinterWonderWomen take over at The Grand Ballroom with a very special guest fueled WWG All-Stars set, anchored by  Billy FailingRoyal Masat and Jarrod Walker. Additionally, Horseshoes & Handgrenades with special guests Bowgegard will take over Schmiggity’s for two back-to-back sets of music.
