Where is your favorite place for après ski?

Slopeside Grill for their great outdoor seating area at the base of Steamboat Ski Area. Also late-night happy hour at Mahogany Ridge Brewery. 

What is the most requested drink you are asked for?

Stoli O, soda and cranberry (Stoli O orange-flavored vodka with soda water and cranberry juice). It’s pretty much the locals’ current favorite. 

Can you recommend a good local dish?

Cugino’s pizza.

Who was the most memorable band you’ve seen live here?

String Cheese Incident when they played in the Meadows parking lot in 2002.

What is your recommendation for a romantic night out in Steamboat?

The Laundry Restaurant on 11th Street for craft cocktails and shared plates. 

What is your favorite special event in winter?

Winter Carnival – I love the parade and the ski jumping.
