Cover contest entries for the winter 2015/16 Yampa Valley Arts and Gallery Guide are due Friday, October 16. Routt County residents and Steamboat Springs Arts Council members are eligible to submit up to three images to be considered for the publication's next cover. The artist whose work is selected for the cover will win an "About the Cover Artist" article in the guide.

The cover contest's winning image will evoke the spirit of Northwest Colorado. Seasonally-appropriate images will be more likely to be chosen. 

A vertical format is preferable for cover contest submissions. Horizontal format pictures will be accepted, but will have to be cropped for use as the cover. The quality of artwork will also be judged by image quality, so higher resolution submissions are preferred.
