Electronic dance music (EDM) has hit Colorado like a tidal wave in recent years -

SONIC BLOOM (June 13-16) has ridden the crest of that wave.

Our summer festival coverage kicks off with next weekend’s SONIC BLOOM  an electronic music festival known for presenting big acts in its intimate Georgetown setting.  Each year some of the most well known names in EDM, as well as the most inventive up-and-coming acts, rumble the subwoofers and energize the dancefloor. This year’s headliners (VibeSquaD, Minnesota, The Polish Ambassador, Bluetech, Phutureprimitive ) are backed up by a huge contingent of premier talent including Colorado locals Zilla, Yuyu (Cualli & Omega) and ill-esha.  Special workshops and film presentations curated by the Evolver Network will balance the musical emphasis with visionary thought and transformational intention. We’ll be bringing you highlights, interviews with artists, photos and more, so keep your eyes and ears peeled.

Boutique is the watch word for SONIC BLOOM—each year tickets dwindle dangerously close to the bottom around a month out, so make sure you head over to sonicbloomfestival.com to grab those while you can.
