Douglas Wipper earned a degree in Tourism and Outdoor Education From the University of Ottawa Canada. He has owned and operated a lodge in the Arctic Watershed, is a collector and Vice President Of Kanawa Museum of Canoes and Kayaks, a Wilderness Studies Instructor at CMC Alpine Campus, an owner-operator of Canyon Canoeing Adventures and a guide for Steamboat Powder Cats. Douglas has logged thousands of miles by canoe in the Canadian north. He and his wife, Kay, now spend most of their time traveling and photographing wildlife in western North America.
