Get a Bird's Eye View of Steamboat in Summertime

03/31/2014 15:39, Published by Grant Johnson, Categories: Living, Today

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to fly alongside a hot air balloon? What about through a narrow canyon and over Fish Creek Falls? Scroll down to watch the videos and find out.

FlyBy is a production company that specializes in providing dynamic, low altitude aerial footage to film, broadcast, and commercial clients around the world. Last summer, they visited Steamboat and filmed three locations using a remote controlled drone. They use custom-built remote controlled multirotors, industry leading gimbal stabilization, and a variety of digital HD cameras to capture footage from unique perspectives.

Though Steamboat is still digging out from a spring snow storm as I write this, it won't be long before the Yampa Valley will take on it's bright green summer hue. We'll be riding bikes down Mt. Werner again before you know it.
