Oil Painters of America (OPA) will hold its 31st National Juried Exhibition of Traditional Oils at the Steamboat Art Museum in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Visitors to this stunning museum will find an unparalleled collection of original oil paintings representative of the high quality of work being produced by today’s best representational artists. Over 1,200 professional artists from across the United States and Canada vie for only 200 spots in this highly competitive annual competition. Oil Painters of America will hold its convention at the Steamboat Grand Hotel from May 31 – June 5. Attendees with a full convention registration are eligible to participate in the wet paint competition & sale, the mystery minis & whodunit contest, as well as demonstrations, educational and social events. The exhibition will be available online on both the Oil Painters of America and Steamboat Art Museum websites.
