He has won over 20 plein air awards in the last 5 years, including several “Best of Shows”. Stephen has been awarded for oils, watercolors, and charcoal, he has a wealth of knowledge to share with participating artists. Not only is Stephen knowledgeable in the area of plein air techniques, but he is also proficient in delivering instruction. A veteran of the classroom for 21 years, Stephen knows how to help his students understand what it takes to make plein air enjoyable and, with practice, successful!
