The Honey Stinger Emerald Mountain Epic's mission is to host Steamboat’s premier single track race experience. We are a charity event that challenges racers to compete at their personal best while promoting safety, fun, camaraderie and community.

FULL Marathon: 26.2 miles with approximately 3,300 feet of elevation gain Men's, Women's & Inclusive Races HALF Marathon: 13.1 miles with approximately 1,500 feet of elevation gain Men's, Women's & Inclusive Races

The full marathon course is identical to one lap of the mountain bike course, which is approximately 26.2 miles. The same open meadows, aspen forests and wild sage gardens offer incredible views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. The only real difference between our Mountain Bike course and our Trail Running course is that we will have a few more strategically place Aid Stations during the running race. The half marathon course does not include Ridge Trail, Cow Creek or Beall Trail.
