The Honey Stinger Emerald Mountain Epic's mission is to host Steamboat’s premier single track race experience. We are a charity event that challenges racers to compete at their personal best while promoting safety, fun, camaraderie and community.

You can expect singletrack….lots of it. Beginning at the Howelsen Hill Ski Area in the heart of Steamboat Springs, the course takes an extended tour deep into the beautiful backcountry of Routt County before returning to the transition/finish area. Racers wind through open meadows, aspen forests and wild sage gardens offering incredible views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. It is a 50+ mile race composed of two 26.2 mile loops, 100% on dirt and 90% on singletrack. 2021 Course Maps will be released soon.
