RMR first opened its doors in August of 2009. Ryan and Kevin Fisher had a vision, shaped by personal experience, to provide patients of Northwest Colorado with safe access to the best cannabis therapies possible. Oh, how times have changed since then...

In the early days, resources were tight and local support was questionable. Ryan and Kevin didn't just build their first dispensary themselves-- they grew, trimmed, processed, and sold the product, helped patients navigate the registry process, and educated our community as to the benefits of medical marijuana. It wasn't long before the business demanded that they quit their day jobs and bring in more help, namely Jenna and Hannah.

If you've been with us since the start, you know that it's not just the product, but the people who made us who we are today. Our desk staff considers each and every patient and customer a friend. Our cultivation staff is committed to growing the best flower from the best genetics available. Our infused product team demands of themselves that only the purest concentrates be produced. Our community also grew to support RMR and the patients of northwest Colorado when they cast a resounding "NO" ballot on Referendum 2C that sought to shutter all Steamboat medical marijuana operations.

The patronage of those who shop at RMR allows us to continue our work in Colorado and beyond. We will fight for marijuana rights at our local and state governments. As we expand our business outside our state's borders, we will continue to educate patients and politicians about this amazing plant. We will fight to provide life-changing therapies to patients in need. However, no matter where we go, we will always call Steamboat home and will forever be committed to the residents and visitors of the Yampa Valley.
