Transportation Master Plan Takes Digital Highway

04/29/2020 12:21PM ● By Rachel Miller
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, COLORADO- When your highways and byways are restricted to essential travel due to the pandemic, the City of Steamboat Springs makes a detour for the next exit and heads for the digital highway in an effort to evaluate existing transportation issues, develop solutions, and chart a course for funding and construction over the next 20 years.

The Transportation Master Plan (TMP) will evaluate and identify projects related to roadway, pedestrian, bicycle, and transit improvements. The TMP will also take into consideration the many dimensions of transportation including those related to accessibility, quality of life, and social components such as cost of living and environmental footprint.
