| THE ATIRA GROUP ALONG WITH INSTITUTIONAL EQUITY PARTNERS PURCHASES BEAR CLAW III IN STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, COLO.
EDWARDS, Colo. (Sept. 19, 2006) — Lance Badger, a senior development partner
with The Atira Group, members of which developed Catamount, Steamboat
Springs, Colo., announced today that The Atira Group, in a new partnership
with institutional equity partners, has purchased the Bear Claw III site
also in Steamboat. The vacant property represents the last great undeveloped
ski-in/ski-out property left on the mountain in Steamboat. The partnership
intends to move forward on a new design and layout that takes into
consideration the existing topography and surrounding developments. The
proposed plan will include luxury mountain residences, onsite amenities and
an alpine club.
