Wildhorse Meadows Breaks Ground
Steamboat Springs, Colorado (August 23, 2006) Construction has begun at Wildhorse Meadows. Local excavation firm, Native Excavating, will move over 300,000 cubic feet of dirt the next 30 days to make way for Steamboat’s newest resort community. The initial ground work is scheduled for completion by the first of October just in time for the snow to fall. Site work, including grading, roads and utilities, on the 47 acre site will continue over the next year with completion anticipated for fall 2007.
With plan approvals and start of construction comes the first sales release at Wildhorse Meadows. The homesites at The Range have now opened for Reservations and so far, the response has been very positive. Reservation holders will have the opportunity to select a homesite in early October at a one day Selection Event. “With the start of construction and the first release of homesites at The Range, we are pleased to be able to contribute to the Urban Renewal Authority’s vision for the revitalization of the base area. As of today, Wildhorse Meadows is officially on its way to becoming a part of the Steamboat community”, says Brent Pearson of Resort Ventures West.
Wildhorse Meadows is a well-planned, architecturally rich resort community located between the base of the mountain and downtown that offers a wide range of amenities and services rarely found in a resort neighborhood. Connected gondola to the ski area, Wildhorse Meadows includes a mix of housing types including homesites, mountain lofts, townhomes, condohotels and attainable housing.
Integral to the vision for Wildhorse Meadows is a sense of neighborhood within the community.
