How much bigger and better can this festival get? In just its third year, The Porches Steamboat Wine Festival has become the can't-miss mountain wine festival!
Continuing on the enormous success of the 2005 Steamboat Wine Festival, TeamSage Productions, the Steamboat Springs Arts Council and The Porches bring you the highly anticipated Third Annual Steamboat Wine Festival Aug. 3-6, in beautiful Steamboat Springs, Colorado. This year we've added more food, more wine and more celebs!
As per pervious years, the festival will feature a variety of food- and wine-related events. Multiple grand tastings, seminars, reserve tastings, cooking competitions and demonstrations and a few surprises. Our world-class wine panel is back again this year as well as the crowd-pleasing Viking Steel Chef competition. For a full listing of events, check out the event schedule.
Make sure to mark your calendars for this incredible weekend. Over 500 wines, fabulous food, a plethora of chefs, vintner dinners, seminars, grand tastings, auctions and more. The Steamboat Springs Arts Council continues its tradition of showcasing the finest works from local artists throughout the entire weekend. What are you waiting for?

- Stroll of Steamboat Grand Tasting brought to you by the Main Street Business Assocation - sample from hundreds of wines while you meander throughout downtown Steamboat Springs. Wine, dine, shop and stroll... what else could you ask for! Featured Stroll stops: Court House Lawn (check-in, entertainment), Mahogany Ridge, Mambo Italiano, Images of Nature, Yacht Club, Centennial Hall and the beautiful Creekside Cafe
- Denver Chef Swap- Three of Denver's highest profile chefs come to Steamboat to showcase their culinary prowess. Likewise, three of Steamboat Springs' best chefs pair-up with Denver chefs each Thursday throughout July. Check out the schedule.
- Wine on the Mountain Kickoff Reception - You asked for it, you got it! The festival returns to the top of the gondola at Thunderhead. This event, limited to 200 patrons, will showcase reserve wines and fine food. The event will provide patrons access to wine makers and our wine panel for in-depth wine discussions. Additionally, the ever-popular live auction will take place with some incredible auction items this year.
