12/1/08 - Alpine Ranch Adds New COO
ALPINE MOUNTAIN RANCH & CLUB WELCOMES ABOARD BILL REID AND HIS WIFE STAR TO THE ALPINE MOUNTAIN RANCH FAMILY

Steamboat Springs, CO - November 19, 2008 – Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club welcomes Bill Reid and his wife, Star, who are relocating permanently to Steamboat Springs where Bill will take on the leadership role at Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club. On board effective November 3rd, Reid will serve as Chief Operating Officer for the management, marketing and sales of the Ranch.

Reid brings a rich band of experience in development and operations in both mountain west real estate and resort communities.  “Given the playing field in development of fine communities these days, Andy and I wanted to invest in someone with quality experience to manage the investment we have in Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club,” said Bill Butler, Chairman of Corporex Companies and co-developer in Alpine Mountain Ranch.

Reid spent four years as CEO at Teton Springs, an all-season resort community near Jackson Hole, WY, offering 625 homesites, a fitness/pool complex, hotel, golf and fishing. During his time at Teton Springs, Reid saw both the worst and best of the real estate market-- from the down market post 9/11 to the highs of 2005-06.  He and his team managed to construct and sell out the community by the end of 2005.

In 2006, Reid was retained by self-made billionaire Jon M. Huntsmen and his three partners to create the new Huntsman Springs property in Driggs, ID.  The Huntsman property encompasses 1,350 acres, including a 500-acre wildlife refuge, 200 acres in a new David McLay Kidd golf complex, a commercial village and over 600 high-end housing opportunities.  The community completed its first phase in September 2008.

Prior to his career in mountain real estate, Reid worked with PGA TOUR Properties, the land and development arm of the PGA TOUR, for 20 years.  “Bill has developed a good feel for high-end resort real estate,” said Andy Daly, co-developer of Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club.  “We look forward to his experienced leadership.”

During the extensive interviewing process, Reid told investors, “The expectation of a quality community and service is a given.  The key to success will be involving investors and owners in the sale of property to populate the community and to insure the stability of each owner’s investment.”

Accompanied by his wife, Star, Reid has purchased a home in the area and is now working full-time and on site at Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club.

Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club is Steamboat Springs’ newest high-end mountainside community encompassing 1,216 acres and 63 homesites.  Located only five minutes from the Steamboat Ski Resort, Alpine Mountain Ranch offers unparalleled proximity to skiing and all the conveniences, shopping and dining of Old Town Steamboat.  A total of 900 acres of the property has been dedicated to a wildlife preserve and open space providing ultra-private living in a natural setting.  Family-focused amenities include an Owners Lodge, concierge service, trout-stocked fishing and boating pond, a centrally-located Barn with equestrian services, a Hermitage in the backcountry, and multi-use trails for snowshoeing, hiking and horseback riding.  A full-time Ranch Manager is in residence.  Additional amenities planned for 2009 include a state-of-the-art pool and fitness center and two luxuriously-outfitted guest cabins.
