New Fall Rug Collections Arrive at David Chase Rugs & Furniture  Classic and contemporary designs selected at the New York International Carpet Show

 

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. (November 21, 2008) -- David Chase Rugs & Furniturehas received a new assortment of fine hand-woven rugs at its 12,000 square-foot showroom in downtown Steamboat Springs, Colorado.  Chosen personally byDavid Chase Scully at the recent International Carpet Show in New York, the collections include classic and contemporary designs accommodating a variety of personal tastes and decorator styles.  The Steamboat-based furnishings

My goal was to select rugs that offer clients an array of distinctive styles, perfect for adorning any interior,” said David Chase Scully, founder and owner.  “These rugs bring energy and versatility to any living area while providing lasting vibrancy.”

The additional lines represent a complete range of styles and colors. Individual rugs honor classic tradition and techniques, while some reinterpret enduring designs.  

The new collections include:  

Ushak: Turkish rugs defined by a striking combination of soft colors and bold geometric patterns.

New West: Woven in Nepal this collection is inspired from Native American textiles with an influence of warm colors and use of open space between design elements.

Suzani: Exhibit a new interpretation of the classic beauty of Uzbekistan embroidery.

Hooked: Reminiscent of the Arts & Crafts era, these jute and cotton rugs incorporate early American quilt and hooked rug designs with colorful geometric shapes.

Woven Legends: Timeless large-scale patterns lend authenticity to traditional tribal designs.

Michaelian & Kohlberg: Continue to inspire with the largest selection of classic to contemporary designs and colors.

All rugs at David Chase Rugs & Furniture are hand-woven and naturally dyed. Rug sizing begins at 2’ x 3’ thru 15’ x 20’.  Most rugs are in stock and available for immediate delivery.  The gallery encourages clients to experience rugs in their home prior to making a purchase.  Other rug services include custom rug pad fitting; rug cleaning, repairs, restoration, appraisals; and global shipping.
