Please join us for a talk by local artist Laura Wait on
Thursday, February 28, 2008 from 5 - 6 pm at K. Saari Gallery.
Wait will be discussing her monoprints, artist books, paintings
and her encaustics.
This is a unique showing of Wait's artistic books, which are in some of the most
renowned collections in the world, such as; Library of Congress, Princeton University and the
Denver Public Library. A graduate of Barnard College, New York and the Croydon
School of Art in England, Wait specializes in intaglio printmaking
and bookbinding. Her work has been exhibited nationally since 1994 and in 2005
was included in the 4th International Book and Paper Arts Triennial in Chicago.
