'Americana' original western photographs by Kim Keith Steamboat Springs, CO Jun 05, 2007 Creekside Café will host a solo show, "Americana", original western photographs by Kim Keith, throughout the month of June. Every month Creekside Café (located at 131 11th Street) gives visitors the opportunity to view a variety of work from local artists and enjoy some of the valley's favorite breakfast and lunch fare. This month Creekside is featuring local photographer, Kim Keith with 'Americana' images. Creekside's food shares the limelight with the featured artist creating a marriage of local art and local food. The June feature show is "Americana" marking the artistic efforts of Kim Keith creating an exciting exhibit that celebrates simplicity and beauty in western life. Many of the images hanging on Creekside's exposed brick walls were created from scenes found in the Yampa Valley. About the Artist...
Kim Keith is a local fine artist who specializes in photographing a character, essence and form. Devoted to a lifetime of exploring the human condition, Kim shares her unique perspective through photography. Studies in psychology and photography enable her to pursue ideas, visions and insights. In addition to the solo show at Creekside, visitors and Steamboat locals can appreciate more of Kim's artwork by walking around the corner to the Artists' Gallery of Steamboat (1009 Lincoln Avenue). Enjoy a collection of Kim Keith's photography entitled, "Bodyscapes". A detail of a body part is photographed and retains an essence of a particular person, but also becomes an abstraction. All fine art images are custom printed to museum quality.
Creekside Café is open from 7am - 2pm daily for breakfast and lunch. Creekside offers a fabulous menu and an unforgettable atmosphere on Soda Creek 879-4925.
