| 5/25/07 - Artists' Gallery of Steamboat launches it's June show in a delicious way |
Steamboat Springs, CO May 24, 2006 The Artists' Gallery of Steamboat announces it's June Featured Artists show, "Summertime", featuring the work of painters Leslie Bell and Bert Kempers, along with jewelry designer Melanie Guerra! The public is invited to an ice-cream social for its opening reception Friday, June 1st from 5pm-8pm at the gallery. This event is free and open to the public This month-long exhibit showcases the work of the gallery's other 23 owner-artists as well.

The Artists' Gallery is open Monday through Saturday 11am - 9pm, Sunday 11 am to 7pm and other times by appointment. The Artists' Gallery of Steamboat is located at 1009 Lincoln Avenue in downtown Steamboat Springs with plenty of parking in the public lot across the street. The gallery phone is: 970.879.4744.
About the Gallery...
The Artists' Gallery of Steamboat is completely owned and operated by the 26 local artists who exhibit there. The gallery caters to a wide variety of tastes, interests and budgets. Represented artists work in an array of mediums: two dimensional works such as oils, watercolors, pastels, photographs and prints; three dimensional works such as jewelry, textiles and sculpture.
The enclaves of the Rocky Mountains have long been home to multitudes of talented creative artists, most of whom are searching for a venue to present and sell their work. Steamboat is a particularly fortunate mountain town. In addition to world- class skiing and resort amenities, it is home to a vibrant, diverse community of visual artists.
Now the work of these artists comes together under one spacious roof in Downtown Steamboat Springs. The artists/owners staff the gallery, adding a level of expertise not found in every large gallery, while simultaneously creating an environment that allows visitors to meet some of the areas most talented residents |
