Bostyx, Featuring David Victor Formerly of BOSTON, To Perform Acoustic Show at Strings Music Festival on June 22
Acclaimed Band Combines The Iconic Hits of BOSTON & STYX Into One Power-Packed Performance
BOSTYX is coming to Steamboat Springs with a one-two punch on Friday, June 22 to perform the legendary hits of BOSTON and STYX at the Strings Music Festival.
The band features David Victor, former vocalist/guitarist for BOSTON and re-creates the amazing music of two classic rock icons. BOSTYX performs all the best-loved hits including "More Than a Feeling", "Come Sail Away", "Lady" and "Foreplay / Long Time" and also delves into deeper album cuts including STYX's "Crystal Ball" and BOSTON's "A Man I'll Never Be", a fan-favorite song that BOSTON has not performed live since the 1980s.
Featuring a spectacular lineup of LA’s finest professional rock musicians, BOSTYX comprises: Drummer GLENN JOST, who is a monster behind the kit while handling the operatic vocal stylings of STYX’s Dennis DeYoung; ROBY DURON performing the intricate lead guitar work of the ensemble with style and showmanship; MANNY AGUIRRE handling the complex bass lines with dexterity, and keyboardist VICTOR BENDER performing the sophisticated arrangements, including the blistering “Foreplay”, with ease.
The Strings Music Festival show starts at 8 PM. For more information about BOSYX, visit https://www.bostyx.com.
