STEAMBOAT SPRINGS –Negative temperatures and gusts of snow blow all over the Yampa Valley, yet smiles and even a bit of dancing can be found with the happy employees at Mountain View Car Wash.

The staff at Mountain View are always in a friendly mood, regardless of the inclement weather offered up in Northwest Colorado. In 2010, Travis Gainsley purchased the Yampa Valley’s only full-service carwash, located on the corner of Lincoln Ave. and Trafalgar Dr. 

“We’re like a family here. Everyone works hard, chips in and pulls their weight. This time of year, it’s not the easiest place to work,” Gainsley says. “Over the last handful of years, we’ve had the best staff we’ve ever had. Everyone works well together, which makes my life a lot easier. We have a low turnover; I’m very lucky.”
