STEAMBOAT SPRINGS – “It’s important to consider a person’s lifestyle and the amount of time and effort they want to put toward their look once they’re home,” says Kelly Wilson, hairstylist at Wildhorse Salon, on the topic of switching up your look. 

Wilson has been styling hair for six years, six months of which have been spent at Wildhorse Salon. She started her journey into hairstyling at top salons in Orange County. “Low quality just didn’t stand – if you were bad in the industry, you were booted out,” Wilson says.

She carried that mindset with her to Northwest Colorado. “I’m very dedicated to my craft and I keep up with continued education,” Wilson says. “No matter what, I will provide the best services I can.” 

Wilson’s clientele changed along with her location. “The look in Steamboat is more of a natural and earthier vibe,” she says. “I like taking people’s ideas and customizing to their vision. It’s exciting.”
