Rob Perlman Promoted to President & Chief Operating Officer for Steamboat

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, CO-June 26, 2015-Intrawest Resorts Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: SNOW), a leading North American mountain resort and adventure company, today announced that Rob Perlman has been promoted to president and chief operating officer of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation effective July 1, 2015.
 
“After an extensive nationwide search and deliberate process, the Intrawest leadership team is proud to promote from within and have Rob Perlman lead Steamboat forward,” said Sky Foulkes, Intrawest’s Chief Operating Officer. “His business acumen, developed during decades in the ski and travel sectors, combined with his community involvement and resort leadership is perfectly suited for his new expanded role at Steamboat.”

Perlman, who has been in the ski industry for more than 20 years, brings a wealth of ski and travel industry experience including significant assets from his current position as Steamboat’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Along with various roles in the Colorado tourism arena, his tenure in the industry has spanned leadership positions with Colorado Ski Country, U.S.A., Intrawest and several resorts in California and Colorado.
 
Additionally, he has served in various capacities on a number of boards including Colorado Tourism Office Board and Visit Denver as well as contributing to a position on the Denver International Airport’s Vision Design team.

Perlman will assume his new role on July 1, 2015, succeeding respected industry-veteran Chris Diamond, who is retiring at the end of June.
 
Perlman has enjoyed living the Steamboat lifestyle with his wife Erin and daughters, Amanda and Morgan, since 2008.
