Haymaker Golf Course

Walk, take a cart or even a golf bike around this links-style Keith Foster designed 18-hole course. City-owned Haymaker is set up for golfers of all abilities with at least four sets of tees per hole. Take a clinic, polish skills on the range or join local players for a round on this excellent scenic course. Rollingstone Ranch and Club

Owned by the Sheraton Steamboat Resort, this Troon Golf-run 18-hole course was designed by Robert Trent Jones II. Elevated tees and greens on many holes offer stunning valley views, with part of the course meandering by Fish Creek. The Steamboat Golf Club

Miniature Golf

Spend a morning or an afternoon at Amaze'n Steamboat, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this summer. The family fun park is nestled behind the Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association's Visitor Center. Tennis, Pickleball and Volleyball

Tennis players can choose from a host of indoor and outdoor courts around town. The Tennis Center at Steamboat Springs offers a full-service facility with six indoor, cushioned, hard courts and 10 outdoor courts (four hard and six clay). Lessons, clinics and competitions are open to visitors. Pickleball is also available. Courts must be reserved in advance. The Old Town Hot Springs has two outdoor tennis courts at Third and Oak streets that can be reserved. Softball and Baseball

Play ball against teams from all over the country during Triple Crown Sports’ annual summer tournaments. Adults and children have the opportunity to play in events including men’s and mixed-team slowpitch softball, youth baseball and girls fastpitch camps. Steamboat Mountain Soccer Tournament

Now in its 31st year, this well-known event has earned a reputation for its exceptionally fun and competitive atmosphere. One hundred fifty teams in U10 through U19 divisions compete over seven field complexes across Steamboat. Thursday-Sunday, July 16-19

Sporting Clays

Located west of town, family-run Three Quarter Circles offers a 12-station sporting clay course that can be tailored for all abilities. Everyone from novice shooter to marksman is welcome and tuition is available. Open weekends, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., and weekdays by appointment.
