Cowboy Roundup Days and July Fourth Celebration

July 1-4 Spectacular fireworks, Pro Rodeo and a classic Fourth of July parade with a Western flair. Don’t miss the Pioneer Days Block Party after the parade with free music and Routt beer floats.

Hot Air Balloon Rodeo and Art in the Park 

July 12-13 Balloons fill the air to make this the most colorful weekend in Steamboat – don’t miss the nighttime Balloon Glow. More than 140 vendors showcase their specialty art and food, with live music and family fun.

Steamboat Wine Festival

Aug. 6-10 Master winemakers and culinary greats create the ultimate food and wine experience. Features a Farm to Barn Wine Dinner, downtown Steamboat stroll, wine seminars and the Grand Tasting at Gondola Square.

All Arts Festival

Aug. 8-17 All aspects of art – dance, vocal, musical, visual, literary and culinary – are packed into one weekend.

Wild West Air Fest

Aug. 30-31 Vintage and warbird aircraft display, radio controlled airshow, Wings Over the Rockies KidSpace and classic cars – all entertain the whole family.


Sept. 19-20 A mountain-town take on Oktoberfest featuring good food, specialty beers, music and festivities.
