We often like to refer to Steamboat as a country club open to all that wish to engage and enjoy. We are ripe with amenities ranging from recreational opportunities to great restaurants and community facilities.

Like any good country club we continue to add amenities and, as a community, are proud to soon be unveiling our latest and greatest. Casey’s Pond Distinctive Senior Living is currently under construction on an eleven acre campus adjoining Walton Creek road and Casey’s pond with a completion date of late 2013.
The complex will consist of four separate entities and boasts of an almost one to one ratio of resident to staff. For the entire project there will be availability for daily local shuttle transportation services, full service gourmet restaurant dining, fitness club, concierge services and much more.

The first of the options are The Veranda, independent living villas. Your choice of 1 or 2 bedrooms, a study and up to 2 bathrooms and washer and dryers in each unit. Some units have garages.

Next is The Grove, assisted living and respite stay suites. Private and spacious well-appointed suites which include a kitchenette and private bathroom. Outpatient rehabilitation is available on-site with medication management, personalized wellness, fitness and nutrition and supervision and reminders of daily activities.

The third choice is the Harbor House, memory care residence suites. Private spacious suites including private bathrooms. Specially designed memory care program, focused and personalized care tailore to the residents needs.

Finally the Doak Walker center which is currently located adjacent to the Yampa Valley Medical Center will relocate to Casey’s Pond. This facility will continue to offer skilled nursing and rehabilitation suites, many of which are private. There will be 24 hour skilled nursing care with emergency services, respiratory therapy and short-term and long-term recovery care and physician services.

All will offer daily activities, a business center, daily Yoga and Tai Chi and a full service mail center. A state of the art 24/7 emergency response system, salon and even an outdoor café and bistro/wine bar.
